The "faces of relief" collection from hinderer + muehlich offers new ideas for graphics design - for use on such items as packaging, greeting cards and book covers. In this album, the die manufacturer hinderer + muehlich, a member of the Kurz Group (Fuerth/Germany), presents a comprehensive selection of relief stampings and combination options. A series of sample cards, illustrating a variety of stampings - embossed and recessed relief levels, multilevel reliefs at different depths and two stamping passes effects are on view. Microstructures, large-area textural stamping, different angles, round shapes and square edges, combinations of blind and conventional stamping all enable one to gain a vivid impression of the practically unlimited options provided by stamping. The book also provides an informative overview of relief stamping technology. There is also a second work from hinderer + muehlich - the "paperscapes" structure book. It contains sample cards with a variety of novel large-area structural stampings depicting different types of geometrical and natural structures, from wood-chip wallpaper to textiles through to snake skin, from art nouveau to hand-made paper. The structure book should not only be looked on as a source of ideas - it also contains standard structures for which hinderer + muehlich can deliver the corresponding brass dies within approximately seven days. Variations on these standard designs have a delivery time of up to two weeks. Standard structures can be modified if so desired. All designs can be enlarged or reduced, becoming coarser or finer, thereby creating an entirely different effect. Elongation and compression are also possible and amazing effects can be achieved. Depending upon the paper thickness, it is also possible to vary the depth of the structures. Of course, brand new effects based on specific customer requirements can also be developed. Upon request, newly developed designs may be reserved so they are exclusively available to just one company. This means that this particular die technology may be used for commercial security purposes as well as for decorative purposes. Individual copies of the "paperscapes? structure book and the "faces of relief? collection are available upon payment of 10 EURO deposit each. Order
